A panel of leaders from the following initiatives:
The session will examine where The Basics Principles and tools naturally overlap with other community-based child and family support efforts, and how collaboration can be mutually beneficial. Panelists will highlight areas of alignment, share examples of productive partnership, and discuss considerations for communities that may choose to pursue coordination based on their local context. Other national initiatives represented in the conference include StriveTogether, the Campaign for Grade Level Reading, and First 10. |

This session will focus on how The Basics Boston has cultivated collaboration with partner organizations in priority neighborhoods and lessons learned from a decade of implementation. How BLN Backbones Become Embedded in Local Ecologies and Implications for Sustainable Impact
Backbone leaders from BLN communities will discuss how they have embedded The Basics within a single local ecosystem and what it takes to move from adoption to sustained use of The Principles and tools. The morning will also include examples of broader, multi-site approaches to spreading The Basics, including First 10 and The Basics Tasmania, highlighting similarities and differences in strategy, infrastructure, and sustainability.

Attendees are encouraged to settle in with lunch before the remarks begin. Parents will share how they use The Basics Principles, tools, and activities in everyday routines, what makes them resonate, and what supports or complicates efforts to engage other parents. The discussion will highlight parent leadership roles and practical insights for communities seeking to ground The Basics in lived experience. |

Drawing on examples, questions, and conversations from across the conference, this plenary will surface emerging themes, highlight strategic choices facing communities, and reflect on what it takes to move from learning to sustained, community-level impact. |

Structured Breakout Sessions: From Insights to Action
Participants will take stock of key learnings from the conference and work through guided discussion prompts focused on application. Each breakout will identify a small set of priority ideas related to practice, partnership, or systems change. Case study presenters will circulate to answer questions and provide context. |

Team Planning Time
Participants who attended with colleagues will work in teams to draft two to three actionable next steps informed by the breakout discussions. Participants not attending as part of a team will join as advisors and sounding boards to help refine ideas. |
